TNPSC Group 2 Notification 2020 – Expected Date, Exam Date & Eligibility. Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission(TNPSC) has announced that the Notification for Group 2 Vacancy will be released in May 2020. Announcements for the Group 2 and Group 2A exams will be released in May, as specified in the Annual Examination Schedule for 2020. With this, the TNPSC Commission said it would fill more than 3 thousand vacancies.

According to the Annual Examination Schedule for 2020, Group 1 Examination Notification Only Released in January. The remaining 3 selections(Agriculture Officer, Assistant Director, Assistant Horticultural Officer) have not yet been announced. The announcement of the Combined Engineer Job Selection, which should have come in February, has not yet arrived. All announcements to be made in January and February will be published separately in April.
Announcements for the Group 2 and Group 2A exams will be released in May, as specified in the Annual Examination Schedule for 2020. With this, the TNPSC Commission said it would fill more than 3 thousand vacancies.
TNPSC Group 2 Vacancy :
Applications are invited only through online mode for direct recruitment to the posts included in Combined Civil Services Examination–II. More than 3 thousand vacancies to be announced.The distribution of vacancies for this recruitment will be announced later.

Age Limit :
Candidates, age should be Minumum 18 Years to Maximum No Age Limit. No maximum age limit shall mean that the applicants should not have completed 58 years of age either on the date of notification or at the time of selection/appointment to the post.
Educational Qualification :
Applicants should possess the following or its equivalent qualification awarded by any University or Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission or the State Board, as the case may be. A Bachelor’s degree of any university or Institution recognised by the UGC for the purpose of its grant.
Selection Procedure :
The selection will be made in three successive stages viz., (i) Preliminary Examination for selection of candidates for admission to the Main Written Examination (ii) Main Written Examination and (iii) an Oral Test in the shape of an Interview. The Preliminary Examination is meant to serve as a screening test only. The marks obtained in the Preliminary Examination by the candidates who are declared qualified for admission to the Main Written Examination will not be counted for determining their final order of merit.
