Coal India Legal Assistant Selection Process 2020:

Selection will be done on the Computer Based Online Test (MCQ) will be held at Test Cities as mentioned in the online application form. Applicants may opt for 3-Test Cities from the list as per their preference. Coal India Limited reserves the right to allocate any Test city or change the Test city opted by the applicants.

Computer Based Online Test:

• Candidates have to appear for two CBT-2 papers (Paper-I & Paper-II) of 100 marks each.
• Paper-I will consist of General Knowledge/Awareness, Reasoning, Numerical Ability and General English.
• Paper-II will consist of Professional Knowledge (Discipline related) with 100 multiple choice questions (MCQ) in each paper.
• Each question will carry 1 mark and there is no penalty for wrong answer.
• The qualifying marks for the Computer Based Online Test will be as under:
• GENERAL (UR) / EWS: Minimum 40 marks in each paper
• OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): Minimum 35 marks in each paper
• SC / ST / PwD: Minimum 30 marks in each paper

Personal Interview:

• Candidates shortlisted in the Computer Based Test will be called for Personal Interview as per their merit in the ratio of 1:3.
• The personal interview will be of 10 marks.
• The final list of selected candidates will also be uploaded in the CIL website and they will also be intimated about Documents Verification (DV) & Initial Medical Examination (IME).
• Final merit panel will be prepared based on the consolidated marks of Computer Based Online Test and Personal Interview.

The answer key for the computer-based test of CIL recruitment 2020 is provided to candidates online. They have to visit the website, coalindia.in to download answer key. After 03 days of the commencement of the examination, response query management invites objections against answer key on CIL website. The link for raising objections will be hosted for 05 days.
